We had a request from a customer who wanted to check the genuine mileage on a Porsche 911 91 that he was potentially buying. His question was as follows
I am possibly buying a 2014 Porsche 991 Carrera S, and have seen your video where the POR V3 checks the genuine mileage from the ECU. I am just checking to make sure before i buy it that the POR V3 will let me see the genuine mileage from the ECU?
The POR V3.0 (as shown below, and also bought by the customer) will allow the user to check the mileage on the ECU of the vehicle and not just the instrument cluster. If a Porsche has been clocked and the mileage turned back, in most cases it will only be done on the instrument cluster, but the main ECU of the vehicle will also keep a record of the correct vehicle mileage
It also serves as a health check tool, allowing the user to diagnose all systems within the vehicle (like engine, abs, airbags, transmission etc) and also carry out a wide range of service functions like DPF regeneration (where applicable), Oil Service Reset, Suspension Calibration, New Battery Registration and a lot more.
