We had a request from a customer who wanted to diagnose & reset the door unlock chirp sound in his 2020 Jagauar I-Pace. His question was as follows

Dear Diagnostic World, I currently own a Jaguar I pace MY2020. The car has a suspected fault as when you unlock the car, I get 2 chirps warning of an issue from the car's manual and am wishing to read any codes before sending it under warranty to Jaguar and wondered if it is just a case of diagnosing this fault with the LR V3?  If I read the codes and reset them can this void the jaguar warranty? Do they know the codes have been reset?

The LR V3.0 (as shown below) will allow the user to diagnose this system. Furthermore, there will be no trace that the tool has been used, and it will not void any warranty, but it might be best to double check with the dealer first. They will generally tell you that the do not want any other tools to be used on your vehicle, but this is purely a tactic to get you to use the dealer facility. 

In the image below, it shows an example of this message that can show on the dashboard of the Jaguar F-Pace if the adblue level needs to be topped up.

It also serves as a health check tool, allowing the user to diagnose all systems within the vehicle (like engine, abs, airbags, transmission etc) and also carry out a wide range of service functions like DPF regeneration, Oil Service Reset, Suspension Calibration, New Battery Registration and a lot more.
