We had a request from a customer who wanted to check the difference between the iCarsoft CR MAX and CR PRO + diagnostic units. His question was as follows

Hello, will this unit do everything that the LR V3.0 Jaguar/Land rover specific version will do. Also, could you give me the differences between CR max & CR Pro + Thanks

The CR MAX and CR PRO + kits can do everything that the manufacturer specific V3.0 tools can do. For example, the functions & features from the LR V3.0 are carried over into the CR MAX/CR PRO + kits. This is also the same for the other manufacturer tools, like MB V3.0, BMM V3.0, POR V3.0, VOL V3.0 etc etc. With regards to the difference between the CR MAX and CR PRO +, when it comes to diagnostics, they can both do the exact same thing. The only main difference is that the CR MAX is a tablet based tool, so it will allow you to go online, download apps etc. The CR PRO + is more of a traditional style scan tool, and can only be used as a scan tool. 

The CR MAX and CR PRO + also serves as a health check tool, allowing the user to diagnose all systems within the vehicle (like engine, abs, airbags, transmission etc) and also carry out a wide range of service functions like DPF regeneration, Oil Service Reset, Suspension Calibration, New Battery Registration and a lot more.
