Standard OBD2, EOBD & OBD diagnostic code readers & scan tools will not comminucate with the airbag module within your vehicle. You need to use a specific SRS airbag code reader. The above diagnostic airbag code readers are all equipped with the vital software & hardware to communicate with the airbag. They will read & clear the air bag trouble codes, and allow the airbag dashlight to be switched off.

If you are located in the UK and have an airbag warning light showing, your vehicle is no longer classed as roadworthy and would fail an MOT in it's current condition. So if you have an MOT coming up you will need to pay attention to this warning light and make sure it is removed before the car is tested.
