Honda Jazz Mk2 Dashboard Light Symbols

Dashboard warnings on your Honda Jazz Mk2 depend on the Honda Problem. It could be an indicator light for ABS, airbag, engine light or something else. There are many reasons why the dashboard shows warning lights and below is a list of the lights on the dashboard. You might need to buy a scanner online which will show Honda trouble codes & reset the warning light for good!
If you need to reset a dashboard light or diagnose a fault on your Honda Jazz Mk2 we would advise you to go for the Honda iCarsoft i990 kit. Its an extremely popular choice amongst Honda owners worldwide because it covers such a wide range of modules within the vehicle and has received excellent feedback from buyers.

If you need a new sensors to fix your Honda Jazz Mk2 such as ABS sensor, MAF, camshaft & crankshaft, visit www.bavariandominator.co.uk.

Honda Jazz engine malfunction warning light - the engine warning lamp on your Honda Jazz will briefly illuminate when you start your engine but will go out once the engine has started. If the light remains on, or illuminates when you are driving it indicates that there is a fault in your engine. You could take this to an expensive Honda workshop, or you can diagnose & fix the fault yourself. The best kit to use for this is the Honda iCarsoft i990 diagnostic kit. It will read/reset & clear Honda trouble codes. Generally you will need to replace a sensor, but it's not always as straight forward as that. Which is why our i990 scan tool is a very popular tool.

Honda Jazz airbag warning light - If your Honda Jazz is showing the airbag warning light after engine startup, it indicates that there is a fault within the SRS airbag module. It also means that the airbag system is not working as it should, therefore deeming the vehicle unsafe. You can diagnose the fault yourself by using on one of our airbag reset tools such as the Launch CRP123 or the Autel MD701. They will diagnose the airbag section and tell you where the faults are located. When the airbag fault has been fixed the trouble codes can be removed/cleared and the light can be turned off.

Honda Jazz ABS warning light for (Anti Lock Braking System) - This ABS warning lamp is normally coupled with the handbrake & BRAKE warning light & means that the ABS system in your Honda Jazz is at fault. Generally the problem is located at one of the four ABS sensors but that's not always the case. To find out where the fault is (or which abs sensor is at fault) you could take the car to the Honda workshop which is generally quite expensive. We recommend you use our Launch CRP123 or the Honda iCarsoft i990 kit t diagnose the system. Once the system codes have been found and the fault has been fixed, the warning codes can be reset and the warning lamp on your dahsboard will go off.

Reset the system by restarting the engine. The indicator will not turn off immediately. If it does not go off after driving a short distance, or comes on again while driving, take the vehicle to your dealer to have it checked. With the indicator on, the EPS may be turned off, making the vehicle harder to steer.
If the power steering system overheats while driving, the assist is reduced and steering may feel slightly harder.
